This year CLC is going to partner with Operation Christmas Child and send 1,100 shoeboxes
filled with gifts of all kinds and the Gospel of Jesus to children all over the world.
Between now and the first of November please just fill at least 10 shoeboxes with all kinds of wonderful little gifts from the Dollar Tree,
5 and Below or anywhere that you find a good deal and then bring those boxes to the church as you have them ready.
About 8 people come to Jesus for every box distributed, so we're not cutting any corners. 1,100 is the baseline, and we can sure go up from there!

How To Pack A Shoebox?
1. GET A SHOEBOX
Grab a colorful preprinted one from church on Sunday mornings or use your own average-size cardboard (NOT plastic) shoebox. These sturdy options hold up well and can be lasting gifts in themselves for children to store cherished items.

2. FILL WITH GIFTS
Select a medium to large "wow" item such as a soccer ball with pump or stuffed animal, then fill with other fun toys, hygiene items, and school supplies. Don’t forget to also include a personal note and photo—sometimes these are the child's favorite things to receive!

3. PRAY
Most importantly, "pray without ceasing" (1 Thess. 5:17) for the child who will receive your shoebox gift.

- The pastor of the church who delivers your shoebox gift.

4. DONATE $10 PER SHOEBOX
A donation of $10 per box is critical to cover shipping and other project costs. You can either bring the $10 when you pick up or when you drop off your box at the church(on or before collection Sunday- November 9th) or give online through the giving portal at the top of this page- Choose the "Operation Christmas Child" fund.

5. DROP OFF
Once your shoebox is filled and ready to go, place the label on the outside(if it hasn't already been placed on) bring it to the church before or on Collection Sunday, November 9th.
